MY NAME IS Deivid

Plants are part of my DNA. My great-grandmother, Anita Otalora, sold plants for a living in Colombia. My grandmother, Matilde Otalora, has always lived surrounded by plants. They passed this love for plants on to me. Now I have more than 100 plants that I take care of in my own home in Chicago. I know first-hand what it takes for plants to flourish. Plants have brought an immense amount of joy, wisdom, and growth into my life, and ever since I started living with plants, my quality of life has improved. When I started sharing this with others, I realized that most people are intimidated by plants and don’t know where to start. This is how Plantita Paradise was born, through a desire to connect with nature, honor my family’s history, and share the joy of plants with others.
